At this next meeting, if we can organize an IT atmosphere to meet and discuss a couple of topics that would be interesting to develop with:

Light refreshments and a snack will be provided!

  • Your drive for technological advancement in the community. Do you want to build career skills? How do you use it today and can it be improved upon?
  • What new or old technology are you interested in?
  • Are you trying to create an IT home atmosphere for your children?
  • Do you have any tech stories you would like to share? (Learning, interaction, work, school, relatives, cultural)
  • Have you engaged in online material to learn? (Youtube, podcast, instructional guides)
  • Are youth who undergo online educational paths really learning? We would like some feedback on this to post on and provide information to motivate continuing education and mentorship.
  • Have you participated in a seminar for technology?
  • Are you familiar with the data governance of the Nation?
  • Do you have interest in participating in digital marketing campaigns for local tribal businesses?
  • Have you thought about doing a recurring podcast edition to talk about what you want to talk about?
  • What is your vision for the people in technology? (Fields, recreational use, personal)
There are grants available in any research and community engagement activity that involves technology and the IT development. There is a high interest in individuals who are willing to invest in the time for more and with something that can be noted on the resume. Building job skills requires time, money, and a degree but with NEW-TRG it can be listed as an extra-curricular activity with a contact to show the motivation and desire to learn before you can get the degree. Developing a community civic engagement is also desirable with college scholarships, certain programs looking for active participation in technology, and if possible - successful programs to continue investing in.

Please contact with any questions and schedule a time that works best for you!
Writing blog stories occurs when there is time, attention, and the ability to produce quality material that is aimed at recruiting more IT involvement! Always looking for interviews so if you are interested - that would be an awesome opportunity for NEW-TRG and your goals as an interviewee.

Oneida Community Event - ITA Appearance

Check out the next IT inclusive informational event!

Oneida ITA

Among the many IT programs in the State of Wisconsin alone, this is an opportunity that is supported by UW-Madison (who recently offered free tuition to all the Nations of Wisconsin) for higher educational endeavors. Pushing for IT Careers is a priority within any growing business and we need to act on these great opportunities now while we can still provide other revenues and learn how to integrate our services and sovereignty into future economical support systems.

Highly encourage to try and make it out! Surround yourself in these new atmospheres and be renewed as an Indigenous student! Take advantage of these events and become familiar with the crowd, gain a mentor, and become a serious student in Information Technology!
