---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At this next meeting, if we can organize an IT atmosphere to meet and discuss a couple of topics that would be interesting to develop with:

Light refreshments and a snack will be provided!

  • Your drive for technological advancement in the community. Do you want to build career skills? How do you use it today and can it be improved upon?
  • What new or old technology are you interested in?
  • Are you trying to create an IT home atmosphere for your children?
  • Do you have any tech stories you would like to share? (Learning, interaction, work, school, relatives, cultural)
  • Have you engaged in online material to learn? (Youtube, podcast, instructional guides)
  • Are youth who undergo online educational paths really learning? We would like some feedback on this to post on and provide information to motivate continuing education and mentorship.
  • Have you participated in a seminar for technology?
  • Are you familiar with the data governance of the Nation?
  • Do you have interest in participating in digital marketing campaigns for local tribal businesses?
  • Have you thought about doing a recurring podcast edition to talk about what you want to talk about?
  • What is your vision for the people in technology? (Fields, recreational use, personal)
There are grants available in any research and community engagement activity that involves technology and the IT development. There is a high interest in individuals who are willing to invest in the time for more and with something that can be noted on the resume. Building job skills requires time, money, and a degree but with NEW-TRG it can be listed as an extra-curricular activity with a contact to show the motivation and desire to learn before you can get the degree. Developing a community civic engagement is also desirable with college scholarships, certain programs looking for active participation in technology, and if possible - successful programs to continue investing in.

Please contact with any questions and schedule a time that works best for you!
Writing blog stories occurs when there is time, attention, and the ability to produce quality material that is aimed at recruiting more IT involvement! Always looking for interviews so if you are interested - that would be an awesome opportunity for NEW-TRG and your goals as an interviewee.

Oneida Community Event - ITA Appearance

Check out the next IT inclusive informational event!

Oneida ITA

Among the many IT programs in the State of Wisconsin alone, this is an opportunity that is supported by UW-Madison (who recently offered free tuition to all the Nations of Wisconsin) for higher educational endeavors. Pushing for IT Careers is a priority within any growing business and we need to act on these great opportunities now while we can still provide other revenues and learn how to integrate our services and sovereignty into future economical support systems.

Highly encourage to try and make it out! Surround yourself in these new atmospheres and be renewed as an Indigenous student! Take advantage of these events and become familiar with the crowd, gain a mentor, and become a serious student in Information Technology!

NEW-TRG Availabilities for 2024!

 Schedule for 2024 NEW-TRG

Currently there are no issues with scheduling into January 2024. Oneida Career Education Center and NEW-TRG are working out a schedule for the big classroom in the back of the building to host its weekly meetings again. There were no contacts made since the last blog posting! There are stickers, flyers, and facebook posts that could also serve as questions or comments for the group!

Community IT Environment and the Future for Business Projections in America

Understanding that Tribal Enterprises operate mainly one revenue (bingo & casino) for their start-up and tribal funded constitutional self-sustaining laws for the people - it dwindles the expectations of its people by creating a dependency in living from those revenues. We need more business, more innovation, and more STEM projects within community with tribal teachings to input societal change now! We want a new environment, then we need to shape what we are doing to the mindset and expectations of our future by providing new jobs, new occupational roles, and studying future technologies now!
Every American family provides ambitious breakthroughs in sustainable economies by engaging in their agricultural science, waste water treatment, and traditional knowledge by providing something we need. Something America agrees in preserving the natural environment. What we do as tribal people is an umbrella effect that is minimizing our voice and influence within society. If we can encourage our small businesses to be effective in these superfund potentials, renovating techniques with harnessing environmental degradation, spiritual protection and purpose, and other Native American perspective's for future space travel opportunities of selecting a people who are prepared and geared for maintaining a survivalism - now is the time to start!

What are some issues in the community that NEW-TRG can address and change?

An issue that has been arising is the drug epidemics and the war on drugs established in the Nixon presidency has finally catching up to us. A solution is changing the community atmosphere and creating goals to progress and invest in. Where can we develop the skills to change and what do we do to occupy our time instead of drugs? Can we change? The type of community to accept NEW-TRG means being a safe haven and honest mentoring environment to promote a professionalism and sincere interest to replace those schedules people create within their lives.
There are advantages to be had with NEW-TRG but it does need community involvement and the current status is no participation. Personal computers at home, communication open to Facechat and Skype, Remote Assistance and Virtual Desktop software is available to assist us as well. We can help each other. Coming up with a reason to use technology - marketing, research, job skills, and personal entertainment are high in the demand for how to be effective in our time in this world. We teach ourselves because we learn what works best for us as consumers and customers.
Let's take a moment and think about our psychological impact and influence of these imprints on us. What we are interacting with as a tool. How we are being perceived - how we change our conversation online and how we are being heard through typed words? The speed of using technology. What its going to look like in the future and why this is important.
It's free today. Free.
This means it has been made into a law for freedom of information laws and Internet Service Providers can guarantee a price for you as a consumer for things online you regularly maintain. However, what you don't know, is that the laws online do not exist yet in protecting your identity, accounts, and they do not guarantee that somebody will be held responsible if you are a victim of these crimes.
Learning how to use technology as a criminal is encouraged with hacking and linux servers (an open source platform that can basically manipulate what we know as the structure of networking and communication). This sounds fancy if you don't have big bank accounts but this trickles down to phone applications, running applications and their permissions (why to turn it off when not using), and employment that uses these applications to find you, your identity, your well-being. These small factors can disrupt your life, while your criminal background or missing relative could have been easily protected had they known how to identify these warning signs.

Community Peace and the Outside World

Everything can be maintained, ordered, and peaceful in tribalism but the moment you step outside of that comfort zone - it can be misleading, a happy tone and face steering you into havoc. Know how to be effective as an American has always been a cross-cultural experience. It doesn't have to be today. We need mentors, experience, and people willing to learn technology and encourage our youth to do the same. If we want to continue and prosper, our business and mentality must change into individualism to create more umbrellas that we can rely on and set our own rules as to who can be involved that upholds soveriegnty by revenue and capitalism and not just membership.

Think about it or do something about it.

NEW-TRG Meeting Times & Location Requests!

 Meeting Time & Location Requests

What works best with your schedule? Evening or Morning better for you? What day of the week? Where would you like to meet?
Some goal setting for projects would also like to be clarified, skill set evaluations, and mentorship abilities.

The traffic at Oneida CEC on Packerland wasn't bringing in people like they did a decade ago! Back when nobody had computers in their home or wanted to use an established networking with good internet services (just out of DSL era) were a huge impact using public services for the quality of the internet. Now, towers have upgraded and wifi has boosted signal strengths with customer education services with the internet providers at affordable rates. So, it didn't bring in as many people as I thought it would, being an educational resource to the community. People should take advantage of it, not every demographic group has one and it is within a tribal community!

Request it, recommend it, feel free to leave a comment!

Virtual is an option as well. However, google meets allows an hour of one-on-one sessions with the gmail account we have (NEW.TechnicalResourceGroup@Gmail.com).

Staying flexible until CEC opens up the bigger classrooms again! Currently, NEW-TRG was in a tutor room the last couple of weeks due to scheduling issues and maintenance for the classroom.
NEW-TRG Kali Ad OCT

There is a Kalihwisaks ad running for October requesting times and dates - if you want to get involved with an IT Atmosphere and learn IT skills within community resources for projects that can impact the community, your career, your interest - this is the group to join! Creating a new hobbie, skill, creative endeavor takes effort and remaining consistent is the key to change. So please, if you know someone struggling with boredom, youth, or looking for a job - recommend building skill and interest with NEW-TRG to begin that new elder status by investing with technological material/research.

If you have a project idea or suggestion - please email so it can be drafted and worked on during the meeting time! We are still taking in Local Businesses owned by Native Americans for advertisements - screening for creative ad makers, digital savvy quotes, trends, and personal interest to create advertisements using online software available now! If you don't know how, join the group and we can work on that together!

Step-by-Step: Saving Your AI Conversation!

 Step-by-Step: Saving Your AI Conversation!

Using ChatGPT, go to the website: https://chat.openai.com/auth/login
Click: Sign Up!
Go to your email (used to sign up with) and verify your email by clicking the link from OpenAI
After that, you will be prompted to put your name, birthday, and cell number - then verifying your cell to input a code they message you.
ChatGPT
A prompt appears after, remember this part! Heed the advice. Remember that anything you write is input a database, these are saved, they are possibly used to profile you. Online activity is monitored. So please be an adult and remain within secure integrity of character!

chatGPT prompt message

Begin to type in the query at the bottom. Ask any question. It may ask you to be more specific, but will automatically provide you with answers. It's like a search engine, except, in conversation with links to provide you your answers. It is a feature to assist with conversational search, rather than just searching and getting pages of your likely matches.

Saving these conversations - if you can right click, save as, and print afterwards.
I did this using Google's AI chat search, it was easy to save and print.
This is the first time using chatGPT for me, so, I noticed its a little bit different. I would recommend using a desktop and not a chromebook or laptop (lol) that has a right click to check those options.

Once you have had your conversation, print it, and save it! File it. Laminate it. Frame it. Make a collage or post it on your facebook feed as a link from your saved oneDrive files.

Why is this important?

It is good to understand that in the first AI conversations that you are going to have in any direction of your belief - we are affected by technology. Its in the atmosphere, its in signals, we are physically affected by technology buzz and knowing that you have the ability to have a conversation with it - makes all the history within your lineage.
Hereafter, if your child hasn't beaten you to it, could be traced back to how the first interaction with this program affected you after. Reflect on it. Let it impact you on human progression and how you handled it at the time in your life. Where have you been, in your childhood, to that moment! Was it something you had dreamed of as a child? Was it something that developed later? Were you anticipating it at all?

Creating those first established conversations means taking technology seriously and being part of it! That is an American luxury, by the way, not everyone in the world is capable of! Please, treat with care and maintain your new eldership by being within technological advancements with your children (after you checked it out and reviewed it or made first contact would be ideal).

NEW-TRG Meets at the Oneida Career Education Center (on Packerland Drive) on Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm!

What do you think Technology is for?

 Technology and the American Indigenous

Often times than not, in any successful highlight for making history in America, the Country person will uphold their stature as a citizen and create the societal footing to hoist the technological step into future transitions. Culturally speaking, the American Indigenous (and many other politically known names used and changed since from American Indian, Native American, American Indigenous, etc.) have encountered global identity issues that support expansion theories and luxury of comfort to rest its people as the world progresses. (Technically, they continue to fight for necessities to remain culturally empowered.)

The community effort in technology requires a sense of educational endeavor from historical teachings which are genetically empowering the people to value its global presence. This is highly agreeable in other land bases that have been systematically enforced upon traditions here in America. The value systems are not the same and have remained intact, regardless of weapon, cure, technology, educational standards. What do Native Americans consider impoverish in future technological terms and how do we remain strong with ethical moralities to enforce technological gains that still have the ability to contend with other influences of the world?

What do you think technology is for?

Technology Was First Influenced By What?

Innovation and counting tangible sizes of things that are used in nature to harvest crops were the first inspiration for technological advancement. The shape and phenomenon of critical thinking became a cultural input for many diverse settings to claim their trade of expertise and influence that was traced back and contend for origination in that innovation. Indigenous Americans (North and South Indigenous Country people) had the luxury to be intact as one kind of people on two continental spans that did not have to contend with the contest of origination and innovative technologies. The world progression is considered to be the same time, same intellect, same boundaries of tools available - this is deepening the facts of humanity as one kind and time. They move together, grow together, and in any lagging [tribal] group they cease in that future step. Global innovation is created with a unity in human ability that transcends through sustenance in life time as a purpose to progress. Currently, technology is one part of this progression and it has goals of reaching beyond atmospherical boundaries which affect the global identity and each culture.

Why is this important?

"How is this possible?" In any successful progressive step in solution is not without global recognition and personal stewardship to an ultimate goal that is beyond cultural boundaries. As people, it is to remain diverse and healthy, so that future generations can survive and transition into a beyond. People need time to adjust and adapt. This is also true for technology and how the intelligent translations occur after on what it means to us as people.
As an individual member, of a clan, of a matriarch, of a purpose, of a message, of a belief, of a spiritual name, of a regional territory, of a diet, of an ability - your contribution in technology now is learning, adapting, explaining, and creating more time for study in something that can contribute or empower in other fields relevant to progression.
What we are better at now, should be technology.
